Assessment – Candidate Report – UX & Visual Improvements

The scope of this project entails enhancing both the design and usability of the candidate report page. This improvement involves featuring key metrics prominently at the top of the page, ensuring that they are immediately visible without the need for scrolling. The primary goal of this enhancement is to provide administrators with a clear and concise overview of a candidate’s performance, enabling them to quickly grasp and assess the candidate’s overall performance and suitability for a position.

New Improved Design

We’ve incorporated a sticky header that displays the candidate’s name and important calls to action. This ensures that administrators don’t lose context while scrolling through the page. Additionally, we’ve introduced a candidate profile hyperlink, allowing administrators to access all the profile details and historical events related to the candidate.

GLOBAL BENCHMARKING

At the top of the page, we are displaying several important metrics, including the candidate’s Total Score, Test Rank, Qualified Score, and global benchmarking data. These metrics collectively provide a quick and informative summary of the candidate’s overall performance. This information is especially valuable for recruiters as it allows them to swiftly grasp the candidate’s standing and performance in comparison to others, facilitating better-informed decisions during the hiring process..

Spotlight

We’ve introduced three distinct sections to provide recruiters with a comprehensive overview of a candidate’s performance. These sections categorize and highlight aspects of the candidate’s evaluation: what went well, what was neutral, and what didn’t meet expectations. This segmentation is intended to simplify the decision-making process for recruiters by offering clear insights into both the strengths and weaknesses of the candidate’s performance, enabling them to make more informed and efficient hiring decisions.

Proctoring

This section serves as a crucial tool for recruiters to determine whether a candidate engaged in any dishonest practices during the test-taking process. It provides an initial indication of potential misconduct. Additionally, recruiters have the option to access more detailed information through a modal, allowing them to investigate further if needed. This deeper dive into the data can provide additional context and evidence regarding any suspected misconduct, supporting recruiters in making well-informed decisions related to the candidate’s integrity during the assessment.

 Review Questions

In this specific section, recruiters are provided with the ability to conduct a thorough review of each question type within the assessment. The primary purpose of this feature is to allow recruiters to manually assess and assign scores to individual questions. Here’s a breakdown of the key functionalities and benefits of this section:

  1. Question Type Review: Recruiters have the opportunity to examine each question type in detail. This involves a comprehensive evaluation of the content, format, and relevance of the questions used in the assessment.
  2. Manual Scoring: Recruiters can manually assign scores to individual questions based on their judgment and assessment criteria. This allows them to have fine-grained control over the evaluation process, ensuring that questions are scored accurately.
  3. Quality Control: By reviewing and manually scoring questions, recruiters can maintain a high standard of quality in the assessment process. They can identify and rectify any potential issues, such as poorly constructed or ambiguous questions.
  4. Customized Evaluation: This section permits customized evaluation of each question, taking into account the specific requirements of the assessment and the desired level of difficulty or importance of each question.
  5. Feedback and Improvement: Manual scoring also enables recruiters to provide feedback to candidates on their responses to individual questions. This feedback can be constructive and help candidates understand their strengths and areas for improvement.

Skills-wise performance

Each job role has specific skill requirements. Evaluating a candidate’s strengths and weaknesses in relation to these skills empowers recruiters to make more informed hiring decisions, leading to better choices in the selection process.

Timeline

This section will assist recruiters in reviewing all the steps within the assessment process, allowing them to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the process.
